i was looking it up online from the uk site and was crazy expensive twice the cost than if buying from the uk.

ps i want to buy my boyf a present for his birthday he is working out in his room right now and needs some equipment do you know anything under 100 euro i could buy him?

B-Builder, thats actually a really good idea, kettlebells are apparantly a very underrated and good tool for conditioning strength building, i cant comment myself as ive never used them :P

Have a set myself and (on the advice of a boardsie) I got a strong, thick piece of metal, spanned it across my attack opening and humg 'em from there.

thanks for everyones ideas im going to look at all these now, esp like the personal trainer one as it will really help him with motivation, does anyone use any? or know anywhere good for men?

How are the bars put up on the wall? are they drilled?

No, least mine wasn't, they're padded slightly at each end and you, erm, hard to describe but both ends screw into the main bar therefore you put the bar in between the frame and start twisting and the bar expands and locks into the door frame securely.

Note that if your door frame is made of cheap wood/painted you can do damage over time and you'll need a door frame with ample width to take the bar, my mate has weird door ways in his house that won't take pull up bars.
