I hope they make it a 2 out of 3 tables for sheamus and cena, one table spot in a match can work when you have a tag team with loads of close calls but in a singles match it'll get old fairly quick

Anyways- TLC. Interesting so far. I would have had Punk/Christian as a lock for the ECW title in a TLC match. But I'm guessing they would be having a regular ladder match with Christian. Also, it leaves a strange void for Smackdown and the assumed Taker/Batista match. Would they really do a ladder, TLC, Tables, and another gimmick match, on one card? I guess we could have two TLC efforts, though it seems like way too much.

More than one TLC match is pretty likely I'd say. They seem determined to do the same thing more than once on PPV these days, such as more than one HIAC, more than one Elimination chamber, even more than one triple threat with tag-teams-in at Survivor Series.

With Christian, it's been 3 PPV's since he's defeanded the ECW title on PPV. With that, should he face CM Punk or someone from ECW in a title match. Taker/Batista in TLC will be awful, imo as both of their bodies are knackerd.

Oh yeah- I know what you mean- it's just, given that they've plumped for Tables with Sheamus/Cena, it makes me wonder if they're dividing the concept, and then having one that combines all the elements.

Whatever they do, it's ****ing overkill anyways.

It should be Punk v Christian. Makes sense if WWE want to continue Punks raised profile while laying ground work for Christian to move in the next Draft. But there is a chance the interaction between CM and C was only a tester for down the road. Vince often does that.

Would Batista Taker work if the High Spots were minimised and they made more use of the weapons. The match could be more about inflicting Pain. WWE could even allow a Pin in that TLC match instead of hanging the belt up.

I could see Batista/Taker being some kind of chair match. I thought HBK was messing up when he mentioned table matches, ladder matches and chair matches but maybe not.

I really hope they give that match a decent amount of time cos that match has Match of the night contender written all over it despite clearly not being the most high profile match on the card. They should give it time too as the only actual TLC match at the TLC PPV

It's a ladder match not a TLC match but your right, this really could be a Match of the Night candidate if done correctly

At the mo, yep. Can't imagine them 2 in a ladder match in the state they're in at the mo.

Yeah. Like I said in another thread, it'll be like a Singapore Cane match. Loads of chairs around the ring. Normal match, but chairs are legal

ohhhh this match'll steal the show no doubt about it, not only that it'll probably be a match of the year candidate too..
every year Shelton has been the mvp of the MITB ladder matches with his innovative ladder spots..

and Christian was always the most underrated wrestler, in everyone of the TLC matches, he literally took the biggest bumps in all the matches, so these two guys combined should be tremendous

This should be decent, their matches are always great fun and the crowd will be hot for it which is always a bonus.

Completly Agreed. Their rivalery in 2007 was brilliant (Mania was good, Backlash was brilliant and HiaC at Survivor Series was excellent) but the state that the 2 of them are in now, I don't know will the crowd be as hot for it as in 2007

Taker didin't look to bad on smackdown this week. Poor ol dave gets injured lots but when he is fit he does good when in the ring with a guy as smart as taker.
