if ur not in a gym just get the ab crunch n do maybe 200 situps n da morning n before u go to bed. after a month shud be there if ur doing it right

This is nonsense, if there is a layer of fat covering his abs, then no amount of sit ups will make it show through

sit ups don't reduce the fat from your abs

total BS - this piece of advice is the exact opposite of what i recommend.

Plus who cares if you have a six pack and are just skinny - work the press ups, chin ups and body weight squats at home for high reps and for 20-30mins daily and i guarantee you will have a far more impressive body.

I wouldn't mind a bit more information about this. Care to share? :)

nothing to really share that has not been covered here before i.e. if you are not willing to hit the gym then do the basic exercises at home covering the whole body and NOT just focusing on the abs.

I have clients come to me weekly that train at home and get fantastic results with some dumbbells, a mat, a swiss ball and a dyna band or two. In other words you do not need much in the way of equipment to get in good shape.

Finally, i have as of yet, dealing with clients 24/7 365 for over 10 years, to see a diet that someone has said is good being actually anything other than good. So when someone says their diet is good i always have to raise an eyebrow and go - yeaaa right its good.

This lad should get a perma ban from the internet for this kind of advice :)

As for 6 pack, I suppose its as simple as reduce all bodyfat with cardio and when your bodyfat is low you can work on your abs with basic ab workouts.

HOWEVER, I have to agree with Transform, "who cares if you have a 6 pack". Its not like you can walk around town with your jumper pulled up to show it off and if you're just a skinny guy with a 6 pack, trust me thats not impressive. Its obvious what your goals are, want to have a better lookin body - Hit the gym and get bigger.

Right serious noob question here, when you guys refer to body weight squats. Do you mean squating with 75kg on a barbell cause thats what I weigh or do you mean just doing a squat with no weights at all?

Feel free to rip the pi$$ but Ive been trying to do squats without a rack at home, which irish-lifting will be sorting out very soon but I cant continue to add weight because past 35kg is just madness. Yet Ive read on here people sayin they'll squat bodyweight without a rack? So im confused:confused:

Did your man in that video call the abs the abdominater?

    that's what it sounded like!

Lose fat and your abs will be there looking at you..

No weight but your own natural body weight.

Eat plenty of sugar, don't hit the gym, pretend you have a good diet and do 5 bazillion crunches and you will have abs that you can fry an egg on ...;)

or you could just follow te good advice from transform

6 packs aren't half as impressive as you may think OP.
I've a '6 pack' but I'd take massive chest, back and arms over it any day of the week. :D

Me too. I could watch that all day. ;)

I agree a six pack on its own is not the answer, even if you got it it would just show up your other unmuscly bits. Research a good workout you can do at home, clean you diet as required, and end up with a body that looks good, not just washboard abs.

BAHAHH , and thats exactly what they will be!

Get to the gym, Get a workout, Look and feel better.

Dont pretend you eat well and work out well utill someone that does, tells you that you are.

what is the fascination with 6 packs anyway? I've got in some good shape lately, but i can't really see if abs are visible, belly is too hairy, my obliques stick out now though!

Crunches wont burn fat off your stomach but will define and tighten up the area. Increase your cardio and eat well. ab workouts after or before every cardio session...leg raises, cruches, bi cycles, planks, side planks,...get a gym ball also, great for core training!

    I'd love a 6-pack.
Not for the 6-pack itself, but the fact that it would mean my BF% would be much lower than it is now.

I think I might get measured soon.
