Online dating...any use?

    Apparently a lot of people here have met their other half through dating sites (as the poll suggests). I've always been facinated by these sites and often find myself just browsing through the photos (sad I know, but i'm curious).

    So what have been peoples experiences of online dating?

    Never have myself, but there was a girl who did work experience in the place I work and she met her boyfriend through a free dating website.

    I text her occasionally, last time I was talking to her she was still going out with him, a year and a half / 2 years on.
