    hi guys!!
    im sad and single at the moment for the first time ever :( well sad about being single really! iv been single for about a year and a half and i was really enjoying it but im ready to get back out there again!!
    my only problem is i dont know how to get out there! :rolleyes:
    iv met all my ex's from work but the place i work now is all girls!! disaster!!
    and im in college but its all girls in my course!!
    so whats a girl to do..???
    i need some inspiration!! where did you meet your other half? and how?! is there any hope for me at all in this extremely male lacking life im leading....??!!!

    What college are you in? i know in CIT the girls in Social Care try to organise class parties and the like with the Mech Eng students since the vast majority are guys.

    my best friend was having a night out for her birthday a while ago. I promised her i would go out, obviously as she was my best friend, but was dreading it also as i didnt know anyone besides herself. promised myself i would go for an hour and then head home.
    so got to the pub and all her friends were there and they were lovely and got chatting to one in particular and we got on really well and he was so cute and such a gentleman to me and when we kissed it was THE best kiss ever, and the rest is history! :)

    i think the key is to not look for a guy. just go out with your friends and have a laugh, and your carefree spirit will attract guys. :D

    +1 although i'm very recently single and am still wollowing in my own depression. But good advice for when i do get myself together!

    I met my OH while we were repeating our Leaving Certs in Cork. I was intrigued by the tattooed guy that wanted to be a vet and he was facinated by my arse as I leant over a desk to talk to someone and he saw my tattoos on my back!

    Met himself through work..He's Australian so it was very random...thank god for the company I work for (clue..they host boards :pac:) or I'd never have found him!

    Op...they turn up in the strangest places..keep your eyes open!
