Hey everyone. (prob thinking this minute "not another one of these threads.." right?:D

I've read through the stickies and theres some great info there which i'm going to use, but if people could give me a hand with some specific stuff i'd greatly appreciate it.

    First off, my stats:

    I'm 5ft 10", and 92kgs, which means I'm a bit overweight.

    My daily diet consists of:

Breakfast: Bowl of porridge/special k in the morning, I alternate between the two, cup of tea, and a slice of wholegrain toast.

Lunch: I never eat lunch, which I know is bad.

Dinner: Always comprises of chicken and rice. Not a fan of potatoes or red meat really. Also eat some fish from time to time. But I really need this to change.

Snacks: Handful of dry roasted peanuts at night-time usually. Also have maybe two biscuits with some tea.

I am in the gym whenever I can, my work hours are seriously erratic, but when I am in there I usually do 20mins on the cross trainer, bike and treadmill, and do some tricep and bicep work with weights.

Basically i'd like to lose around 10lbs, would do an awful lot for my own confidance if I could. Giving myself 6 weeks to do it. Is that realistic?

    Any advice would be great.

    Thank you.

You could ask your gym instructor to show you some compound movements.
And/or start doing burpees and the like at home, these kind of exercises use many muscles together which will help burn calories.

    Phew.
