    Hi,

Hopefully this is the right forum to ask this question - is there anywhere in Ireland where I could find a vintage suitcase (similar to the one attachedAttachment not found.). I've found some on ebay.co.uk but the courier charges for delivery are shockingly expensive

    Thanks for the help

When you used the word 'vintage' that got me thinking of the J. Peterman Company of Lexington, Kentucky. They're a mail order firm and specialise in nice things from the past, made in the present but with a high price tag.

The J. Peterman Co. earned some fame when a character was protrayed on the TV sitcom 'Seinfeld' and another character started writing for the brochure. Which is known for flourery, archaic language....

Anyway, Good Luck in your sleuthing!

Thanks LiamMc for the advice, I eventually bought a lovely 1970s suitcase on ebay.co.uk and had it couriered over. It is in great condition, and I just put on some old fashioned suitcase straps and some antique-looking initials on the lid. It turned out great, and well worth the hassle. Thanks again for the pointer, and hopefully it might help someone else in a similar search
