I don't think I went to 5 gigs this year. That's what happens when you become a parent. So right now I have 4:

    1. Bruce Springsteen (RDS 2nd Night)
    2. Josh Ritter (Whelan's 3rd Night - The Animal Years)
    3. Kevin Smith (I know it wasn't music but it was a gig of sorts)
    4. Jerry Fish & the Mudbug Club (The Academy)

And I'll be going to David Gray/Regina Spektor next month.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,804 ✭✭✭delbertgrady

    Hmmm...

Bruce Springsteen: RDS, Dublin (second night)
    Elton John: Thomond Park, Limerick
Leonard Cohen: O2, Dublin (second night)

Wilco: Vicar Street, Dublin (second night)

    Bubbling under:
    AC/DC: O2, Dublin
Crosby, Stills and Nash: Marquee, Cork

I've probably forgotten something really obvious.

Still to come: Yes, Marillion, Horslips, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Depeche Mode, Paul McCartney.

2024 Gigs and Events: David Suchet, Depeche Mode, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, The Smile, Pixies, Liam Gallagher John Squire/Jake Bugg, Kacey Musgraves (x2), Olivia Rodrigo, Mitski, Muireann Bradley, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eric Clapton, Girls Aloud, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Rewind Festival, The Smashing Pumpkins/Weezer, Henry Winkler, P!nk, Pearl Jam/Richard Ashcroft, Taylor Swift/Paramore, Suede/Manic Street Preachers, Muireann Bradley, AC/DC, Deacon Blue/Altered Images, The The, blink-182, Coldplay, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Nick Lowe, David Gilmour, ABBA Voyage, St. Vincent, Public Service Broadcasting, Crash Test Dummies, Cassandra Jenkins.
