Dry cut in Dublin city centre?

    Hi there,

Could anyone recommend a good place for the above that doesn't cost the earth (ideally less than €40). I hate having my hair washed and blow-dried and would much prefer the person cutting it to just spritz it before cutting and let it dry naturally. Save me heading to the nearest loo to de-coiff it!

    Many thanks

    Just cuts.

I'm not sure if it's just men they do, but they're fairly cheap.
If you don't mind looking like a big sacka crap

The one in the GPO arcade. Is that expensive?

I got a dry cut in 'Yes' Hair salon on Parnell street two weeks ago. It was fantastic and much better than any cut I ever got in Peter Marks.
I was very carefully to tell them EXACTLY what I wanted. My last cut the girl in Peter Marks butchered my hair.

Its a Chinese hair salon, just up past Fibbers. It only cost €25 as well.

Hmmm, well sacka crap wasn't quite the look I was going for so if it was fiddy cent it would still be expensive for that. Thanks Panda100. I'll give Yes a shot - nice positive name anyway! I have completely non-asian curly hair but hair is hair is hair and €25 sounds splendid.

    Hi again Panda,

I don't suppose you have an number for that Yes place do you? Can't find one listed anywhere and no joy with 11850. It's a bit of a hike if they don't have any appointments today...

    Thanks

They dont have a number, you just walk in. They have loads of staff so you never need an appointment. The maximum I've ever had to wait is 15mins for an appointment. It is a bit of a dive inside but don't let this put you off

I also get the permanent straightening done there and my hair is in pretty nice nick :)

Right so. I'll try them this afternoon and see how it goes. I have plenty of hairbands if it's a disaster. Thanks!
