    I read in the paper today a dating agency that is only allowed for beautiful people has revealed Britons are among the ugliest people in the world. Fewer than one in eight British men and three in 20 women have only been accepted. I had a browse - I guess there are no uglies on it! But Im wondering why do you need to go on a dating site if your sooo beautiful???? Haha. Or is it just a way to find out if you are ugly or beautiful? What ye think?

    the site is <spip>. The article was on the Irish Independent. I just think its bizarre that good looking people need to go on a dating site so I think its a way to find out if your beautiful or not.

    Id just like to say that I think it would be appalling, just appalling, if somebody here on boards was to take photo's from The Ladies Lounge "Know your Loungers" thread & submit them onto that website.

    I mean that wouldn't be funny at all. It wouldn't be funny to see the feedback from that site on fellow boardsies. :rolleyes:

    not all of them are actually accepted - if you click on their pic it might say 'application waiting to be accepted' or something like that!

    Hmph. I've already created a thread about this (though the question on mine was somewhat different).

    As for the website itself: it's just a gigantic ego-boosting device for the terminally shallow IMHO; a psychological salve for those whose personalities (and inner confidence) can't quite live up to their bone structure. It must be rather horrible to desire the dubious validation that goes with being accepted on a pretty-people-only website.
