Was recomended to me,Whats it gonna do for me exactly?
Is it worth my while using it?

Im using the gym a year now 3/4 nights a week of cardio,Lost weight everywhere except the gut,Starting to get pissed off now at this stage.
Cardio for prob 50 mins and then stretchs and weights etc.
Will ephedrine help me?

I have no idea what it will do but taking something that isnt exactly natural if ya know what I mean to lose belly fat just seems wrong to me or the easy way out. Try changing your method of cardio. Doing cardio dosent just mean long slow jogs, although you did'nt say exactly what kinda cardio ya do. If that is how you do your cardio try HIIT or maybe interval training, look them up on youtube for ideas. They get the old metabolism racing and should aid better fat loss. Also diet etc.

as far as i know its illegal to buy and sell in Ireland..contains eph...eph was removed from the WDFPA banned substance list this year...

i dont think the FDA like ephedrine too much...from what i gather it raises the body temp and thins the blood slightly.....but im no doctor

It is a metabolic stimulant which does the following

1) raise in resting metabolic rate (usually around 10%)
2) reduction in appetite

It is generally used as part of an ECA stack, ephedrine, caffine and asprin

Not a drug i would recommend tbh for a recreational trainer.

There are no short cuts.

One of its many side effects is extreme insomnia.I know several people who stopped using it due to its insomniac effects alone

The first personal trainer I ever went to 4 years ago was a bodybuilder and he got it for me, I'd never take it again. I was shaking from it and felt like I was on caffeine all day, and THEN I found out it was illegal. Needless to say I stopped taking his advice.

You definitely can't buy it in Ireland.

Really?? Didn't know that!!

Ephedrine is a banned substance in Ireland so be aware that any ephedrine you get will not be regulated or guaranteed for quality. No discussion on where to get it either, ta.

Will it do anything for you, yes of course it will.

But what do you want it to do for you?.

Speaking from experience it'll greatly increase weight loss, kill your appetite and give you killer workouts - thats the good stuff.

Here's the bad.

It will give you very bad anxiety attacks with prolonged use, less so with short term use - its not a side effect you'll enjoy.

Insomnia will be horrendous, even after you discontinue its use your sleep pattern will have been very badly disturbed. I tried to counter this by using GABA and even GHB, then perscription meds.

Are you male?.. After while you'll find it hard (no pun) to maintain an hard erection. But unlike steroid use you'll maintain your sex drive, but with a floppy dick.

I read here people say "there are no short cuts", there are and eph (who said ephedrine ''contains eph'' :rolleyes: ) is one of them, in so far as it will help you shift that stubborn fat but at a cost thats really not worth it in the long term.

My advice, don't use it. Or at least if you do try educate yourself on it a little better than asking about it here.

Oh, and as has been pointed out, its illegal but its also extremly cheap for a dealer to import so your unlikely to get ripped off with fake eph - just on the price.

Its also extremly addictive.

Need to look at your diet mate and if you are doing cardio for 50 mins don't ya think it may not be working?

Might also be worth doing weights before cardio and as mentioned make it all high intensity - no need for a workout to last more than 40 mins total.

It is banned in Ireland, so you'll struggle to get any legally.

However, though it is contra indicated if you have high blood pressure, palpitations and a few other conditions, it should not cause problems for healthy adults.

A review of the Danish experience, where it was widely used under medical supervision for obesity, was published recently. They found that when used as prescribed, it did produce significant weight loss, with tolerable side effects. The one group of people who did have problems with it where people who had chest complaints. They tended to have bad reactions in the first week or so of use.

Now, it is banned as a weight loss aid, but still available in America as a short term treatment for asthma.

I'm sure someone will explain the logic of that to me.

As far as I know (not that far) it's fairly similiar to adrenaline (epinephrine) and so produces some of the same effects as an adrenaline rush.

From what i gather you can your own inexpensive (and legal) ECA stack by buying each component, i.e. buy proplus for the caffine, asprin and sudafed as a source of Pseudoephedrine.

The Pseudoephedrine (from people i know who have tried this) does not have anywhere near the stimulant properties of real ephedrine but you will suffer the same side effects.

Yes, but the Danish experience found it safe and effective for weight loss, but dangerous for people with chest problems in the short term. Which is exactly the opposite of how you can use it legally.

No, it's more similar to amphetamines (specifically methamphetamine, but with an OH on the ethyl group) in terms of chemical structure and effects, not adrenaline.

Ephedrine is sold as speed/amphetamine, and is a common cutting agent in amphetamine. Both ephedrine and pseudoephedrine are precursors (ingredients) used to make methamphetamine (crank, ice, P, yaba, crystal meth), so the purchase of large amounts is restricted and/or watched in many places.

Just to remind everyone, buying or importing ephedrine without a prescription is banned and the Irish Medicine Board are actively watching out for it. If you get caught trying to buy/import it, you will be in deep dodo.
