Any other Carlisle members on here p1ssed off with their new opening hours (as of December first). Not sure of the diff between new and old opening times but closing earlier, at nine on a thursday and five on sat on sun.

Curious as to what other members think, bit bemused myself as to how they can justify that. One chap told me that it was because the place was 'dead' between nine and ten on a thursday, but sure if thats the case why wait five years after they open to do something about that, but anyway. A mate tells me there will be someone with a petition hovering around the gym floor this evening with a petition no less! Should be interesting to see how the gym staff react to that!

Was sprinting on the treadmill down there earlier when suddenly there was a powercut. Gym was pitch dark for a few seconds, before the emergency lighting came on. I could have hurt myself badly. Anyway, everybody had to go home, then when the gym reopened it was absolutely jammers. Miserable day.

Ah twas there all right, all a bit stealth and haphazard. Thing is it affects lots of people by the looks of it, place was still jammed come nine o clock this evening!

    Northwoods the same. Closing earlier.
Don't get why though, if anything between 9 and 10 is the only time you can actually move in the place. WAY WAY WAY... over crowded.

Greedy Greedy Mr Ben Dunne, making more money than ever with new members joining everyday then goes and cuts the opening hours. Just cramming the same amount of sardines into a now even smaller can.

Gotta wonder all the same though.... There is no tracking system on the amount of people in the building, sure they track going it but not going out like most other places. So I wonder.... exceeding capacity limits set by fire marshals? I reckon so!! Remember a while back hearing that GYMs and the like had quite smalls ones to begin with due to obstacles and the like.

Anyway... Given up now. Going back to Total Fitness. Building is a BILLION times bigger! It'll do me fine!! :D
