This is gonna be a cracker, both sides have really good half-backs and back divisions.

    France by 6.

Medard on the bench? Is he not playing well? Would love to see the french win but this South Africa team look unstoppable until they come to croker:D

    Boks by seven.

The SA Flankers look superior to the French ones, I think the French will struggle at the Breakdown and this could be what kills them off, The SA play a strong rucking game.
    SA by 2 scores.

Do you happen to know if it is on tv and if so which chaine?

Also, is Freddy M injured or just not in the squad?

Finally, having seen SA v Leicester the other night I'd say they'll cream it, even though they lost; after all they haven't played together for two months, but still they looked strong against the Tigers who are a club side playing every week for the last two months.

    Bye, Barry

I should know the answer but where is JDV?
I presume its because he plies his trade overseas now.

Obviously Spies is a huge loss but SA should win handy enough I think.

Going to stick my neck out on this one. I'm predicting one of those gloriously quixotic French performances, where they put the world champions to the sword against all the odds.

Yup south africa have that rule where they dont cap overseas players. Broken recently with CJ brought into the squad but that was a necessity.

Also a little interesting tidbit, Frankie Sheehan will be making his debut for this match tomorrow night commentating along side Ryle Nugent for RTE, fair play Frankie :D

Yes, he was terrible actually. You could stick a microphone in my front room during a match and you'd get better commentary.

France have a superior back line, Trinh-Duc is on fire at the mo. France by 10

Can't be live on BBC as ESPN seem to hold UK live rights. Only possibility is that BBC have secondary highlights rights and will show highlights in their Sunday afternoon programme. BBC 2W's 'Scrum V' showed highlights recently of New Zealand vs Australia in Tokyo, a match to which Sky had live UK rights.

he has trouble catching and passing the ball at the best of times

More of one for the written media. ><

Could be a fantastic team. Great Saffer side Zane Kirchner aside. He's shíte.

Boks have the edge at the breakdown and at 10 I'd reckon. I'd love to see France pull a France and just wipe the floor with them, but my money'd be on South Africa. Either way, I just hope both teams play well enough, because with that level of talent on the field it'd be tragic if it was another borefest.

Yeah France always have one great game in them in every tournament. After that though they seem not to care:

*Spoken in a cheesy French accent"Why have you shown up. We have shown you that we are superior, we refuse to play you properly unless you acknowledge we are the better side!"

Could be worse, they could have given him his own column in a newspaper like the Mirror did to Stan Collymore....

Really looking forward to this. I predict a French win, with some some sublime classic French play- throwing from the hips in their own half. When they're on form, the frogs are great to watch.

    i agree.
ive said all along that they will lose twice on the end of year tour and hopefully tonight the french prove me right.
i dont think they have a plan b.
expect them to kick the leather off it(although with traille picked at full back ) expect the same from france.

it could be epic......................or it could be a tennis match with out rackets.we will see

Was just about to say, don't remember the South African anthem being that bad.

Think Habana was laughing about it there.

I think France will do it...and by more than a score! Very exciting team. Will be interesting to see how Harinordoquy gets on at 7.

Can't wait to see what excuse Livremont comes up with for picking Trinh-Duc at 10!! A young inexperienced out half brimming with confidence, bags of talent and playing out of his skin??? To START no less...against THE WORLD CHAMPIONS no less. Absolute disgrace!! He should be shot. Do they not have the same laws as we do? Is there not some sort of European law restricing this? There should be. I wonder if criminal proceedings will be persued.
