Online not working after update !

went online there in the normal manner after updating the software as recommended and it just stays on the same screen for ages

Apparently the outage is completely unrelated to the new patch, it's just because the servers are down. Infinity Ward have a twitter where you can find out what's going on.

Well it was having the exact same problem before the patch, I got excited when the patch was released because i thought it was going to fix it.

Its not down till Friday. Theres no official statement on when its down until because they don't know. They're just saying soon.

where did you enter the code on the infinty ward site?
It says members/VIP area 'coming soon'

You do it on the playstation. When you are signed in, go to account management. Then to redeem codes. Enter code and from there it is pretty much just accepting the download. it is about 980mb in size

It was painfully slow, checking good potential servers and what not!!!

New patch friday to allow party invites!!! Nice!!!

Just in the door now, amazed to hear its still not back, was informed of this at 5ish :eek:, i assume they're trying to make this less painful for the American users based on the time it's been down.

Ya win some, Ya lose some. We get the better(down time) hours for games that are bigger here
