good calories Vs bad ones?

    ok hold on and let me do my best to explain my question
    lets say you lifting weighs and trying to bulk up,you want muscle but dont mind some fat too ,the fat you hope to diet off later,
    and to keep things simple
    lets say a big mac meal is 1200 calories,what is the difference in getting the calories in a big mac meal or say more clean foods, lets pretend you getting all the vitamns and protein etc that you need with supplements and other foods you eat a day,
    clean foods would i be right in saying have usually less calories then stuff like big macs, so you ll need to eat more clean foods to get your 1200 calories so easy, but lets say you are able to eat the cleaner calories in the same time you can eat your big mac meal,or you easy the big mac meal over the same time it takes to eat 1200 cleaner calories
    do clean calories help with bulking way more then bad big mac meal style calories
    is it an issue of how easily a body can use this calories?
