    I... don't know. What's the syntax for that? I'm not entirely sure what directory is set up as the ftp up/download dir.
    You dont need to set up a directory, its your UNIX home directory by default. I've used many unixes(unices?) and distros and SFTP is enabled by default on more than most.

    Just try this, on your local network, connect to the box with WinSCP, use your normal username/password.
