Flower Remedies for heavy periods

    Just come off the pill after 6 months...turned into a demon but did lighten my periods..have come off it and having my first bleed...nightmare(changing high abs. tampon every hour since Thursday)..feel fine however...docs dont have any solution..I took agnus cactus for PMS beofre and worked well...any other remedy I wonder to help with lightening the flow?

    also...does anyone notice when you have sex your periods are a lot heavier the next month?

    I've heard Starflower Oil is supposed to be very good, and Evening Primrose Oil too.

    Starflower oil is like a super powered version of Evening Primrose Oil. I'm not sure if they help with the heaviness of the flow but it's supposed to be very good for reducing cramps, bloating and that 'demon' feeling! I see B complex vitamins often recommended alongside it. Few girls in work swear by it!

    I presume if your flow is really heavy, your doc checked your iron levels? Low iron levels can make you feel lethargic and this could be making you even more irritable?
