    Hi Guys,

I was wondering what a good amount of sets for the crossfit program "Chelsea" (5 pullups, 10 pressups, 15 squats= 1 Set, you have 30 minutes to complete) would be. Has anyone tried this? I have done it a few times and PB'ed today with 44 sets.

    Tks.

    Nothing- just bodyweight.

Fair play man, i could probably do about 20 sets but my pullups would be band assisted and still slow.

According to these guys finishing the 30mins is a pass, not finishing is a fail.

660 squats (on its own!!!) in 30 minutes would be feriociously impressive. I've never gone past 200 bodyweight squats (though I've never tried a chelsea). Good luck with the DOMS. ;)

You can usually guage what a decent number is by checking the comments on crossfit.com.

    Hey Colly,

For Chelsea, it's one set on the minute, every minute.

"Cindy" is as many sets, or rounds, in 20 minutes. You can check out the world's fittest CrossFitters scores here (WFS)

There's no way for this not to sound either harsh or begrudging, but I'd have to question your score to be honest. Without someone recording your reps to make sure you're legit it's very difficult to adhere to standards under duress.

Where are you training now? We've our next Invitational Fitness Competition on February 6th and it'd be great if you could make that event. More details and clips from the last competition here. (WFS)

Initial question was, "how many sets would be good". But cheers for the reply. very helpful.

Thanks for the info. I done it in the gym at work, however I do most of my training in Northwood, Santry. I completed it one other guy, but as far as form and technique, it is agreed that towards the end I probably wasn't fully extending on pull-ups etc..

If you post something closer to the time I would be interested in the challenge in February. Thanks again.

I actually made a stab at this on Monday, the day after a squat day. I made it to round 6 :(

I did the same workout as Colly07 on saturday and got 31 reps (at which point I nearly passed out). I had done it before and 30 was my PB until this.

I have done this workout with Colly07 twice and both times he got late 30's (one of which after a nite of drinking!) so I can vouch for his 44!
