    there is an Australian forum prob better to get an answer from there.

    But Australia has not been affected by the GFC as much as other countries, abiout this time last year a lot of big companies let people go and stopped their projects etc. but now they have started to ramp up again, although the market is not in boom there are still jobs a plenty going around.

    and rates are still good for contractors.

    Shares have gone up about 30-50% since the low point in March, which is a good indicator of how the market is.

    Im hoping to be looking in brisbane. From the online recruitment sites, there seems to be a good few jobs. Cheers again.
