Teamer messages were sent out there.

We'll probably be getting a new pair of gloves and a ball out of the kitty this week. We'll keep it as cheap as possible so as not to eat into the drinking kitty money too much. ;)

We have 8 on teamer and 2 off at the moment.

Lads, any recommendations on cheap astro boots? I think I need to pick up a pair.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,262 ✭✭✭kenon

I don't know if you will find a decent pair for much cheaper than €40. My boots are on the way out so I'm also keeping an eye out for decent boots.

The adidas predators here are the newest versions of what I wear and probably what I'd replace them with.

40 or 50 euro is ok. Might head in to Elverys tomorrow and pick up a pair.

    Lads,

I live just 3mins from the pitches in Coolmine and would be glad to play any night that I can if you needed numbers. I work shift but whenever I am off I would love to play. Get the fitness levels back up.

Count from the bottom up. The 1st people who accepted are lower in the list and as new people accept they are added.

So the 3 people at the top are 15,14 and 13 who accepted.

It seems like the popularity is increasing... Any chance there would be interest in adding a Monday or Wednesday game (provided there is a time available)?

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

I passed by on Saturday at 2pm and only 2 of the 4 pitches were in use.

    Just saying...

I would be quite happy to be added to Teamer for any day of the week and would play when not working. Im just 3 mins drive away.

The past few (3-4) games have been grand. Before that, we were having 6 people accepting and then we'd have to work hard getting more people. I think it would be hasty to add more games just yet. We can keep an eye on it.

Saturdays and Sundays are good down there. It's only €35 before 5pm if I remember right and its not that busy. Another advantage is that they don't kick you off after an hour and you can get close to getting 2 hours for the price of one. If people are interested in a weekend game, they should let it be known. We could have the odd weekend game, rather than looking at a third block booking.

As mentioned previously, we have large demand for places at the moment, but I have your details and you'll be the first to know if we are short on players.

I'd have a bit of Sunday football whenever it's going.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 197 ✭✭Formal shorts

If we add another weekday game at the mo I'll have no credit left! As Ken said, only last month we went a couple of weeks not getting above 8.

I'd love a game at weekends when there was demand for it.

In terms of numbers - who would be interested in playing the odd game on Sat/Sun?

    id play sat or sun

I'd be up for a game sat/sun occasionally too.

I'd definitely be up for the occasional game on the weekend. I'd prefer it to be in the daylight as well, we've been playing in the "dark" for so long that there would be a real novelty to play in the sunlight.

I only come out at night wooh hahahahaha.

But seriously, have missed out Tue and Thur this week just by being away from mobile / pc so would be up for the odd Sunday (midday) game too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 608 ✭✭✭Bassboxxx

    yeah I'd play weekends, daytime.

Teamer messages have been sent out.

If for whatever reason you have to change from "accepted" to "declined" and you cant do it online, text me or gibby to let us know you cant play and we'll change it.

Also, remember you can check the kitty on teamer. You'll need Excel, Excel viewer or OpenOffice Calc to look at it.
Log in to teamer, go to the documents section, click on "Kitty", and on "boards_2.xls" to download it.

If you spot anything wrong with it, PM me.
