This thread is for the posting of fixtures, results and tables ONLY.
Posts other than results WILL BE DELETED.

All players are asked to post their results here after a match has been played.

If you fail to register a result, this result will be void at the end of the season. Both players are expected to confirm the result, by posting it giving "thanks" to the opponents post.

Playing a game before the gameweek it is due to be played will also void that match and result.

Due to numbers involved on some weeks you may only have 2 fixtures instead of 3 but all fixtures will be played over the course of the season.

When posting your results please do so in the following format:

Mr Moon will post up a link to league republic with all the fixtures for the season on it.

We will begin Friday evening at 6pm with the first fixtures kicking off.
Do not play any matches before then or they will be void, also do not play any fixtures in advance of the gameweek they are due to be played.

Within the leagues its setup that it has you down to play each team 4 times however you only play twice. The other 2 are to allow for replays if needed.

Please add yourself to the relevant league with your selected team when you get a chance.

Well first game done. Fair result I think really. I missed an awful lot of chances but smegball hit the crossbar and was dangerous on every attack.

Couldnt keep up with Arsenals players at all. My defence constantly got outpaced. Even my front trio of mata silva and Villa couldnt outpace the defence. Long season ahead im thinking

Damn enjoyable 1st game. Gave away a penalty. Dunno what the ref was thinking. Not even a booking. Great game though.... I was lucky enough with the draw even though I was 3-1 up at one stage. Milan were terrible unlucky with a few lobs

Great start to my season, went 1 -0 down early on..held it for most of the half before getting caught with this new thing in Fifa 10 of the keeper running off his line like a dog chasing a car. Changed to a more attacking formation and tactics second half only for Drogba the beast to take me apart. Never really got into the game at all but cant beat Chelsea at all in Fifa 10 so glad to have my bogey team out of the way!

Feel robbed here. First goal against me was a chipped shot that hits the keeper and trickles in, second goal conceded was the inevitable fifa rebound goal.....bloody magnets itself to the nearest opposition player.

I had a good chance with a few minutes to go where I should have just slid in the free man for an open goal, and didn't. Was stupid and paid for that mistake. GG anyway.

Nedved's connection died in about the 65th minute. Prior to that it was quite even, although I felt confident the mighty Barcelona would put on a show late in the game

Hit the post and came close with another shot in the opening 5 minutes and was doing quite well but Yapa scored on his first attack. Fell 2-0 behind after a great Tevez goal. Yapa showed incredible passing and finishing, to which I had no answer. After 3-0, I went ultra-offensive but to no effect (apart from conceding another 4).

I had won 7 out of my 9 games against Barca/Inter/Chelsea with Bayern but it shows the quality of the players in this league.

Good game. Everything seemed to fall in favour of my players although I missed a fair few one on ones and hit the crossbar from a free kick. Went 5-0 up in the first half and suddenly in the second half my passes started going in completley different directions as to where I wanted them to go and it was pulled back to 5-2. Unlucky red card in the last minute for Aston Villa aswell.

i was lucky to come away with the result, was fairly tired and not 100% after the weekend i had. Nevertheless, stuck with it and got some decently worked goals. I'd say Mr Moon is better than what he showed here too, seem to remember playing you before on 09. maybe a few friendlies at a more reasonable day and time are in order...
