Cheapest online by around €5, and probably €55-€65 in shops.

Edit: For anyone that's wondering, I've just asked them and they've confirmed that they do deliver to Ireland, and said that delivery of the game should be 1-2 days after release.

Edit: Today (Thursday) they said this: "Generally when we ship mail, Ireland will have the same delivery times as our UK customers so as long as Royal Mail are all back up and working you will receive your game for the day of release"

    Yup.

I'm not sure how long delivery takes, but I did a quick google and people seem to be happy enough in other forums.

I think my order took about a week from them, ordered 3 games, 1 out of stock, and it got here about the same time as the other 2.

Plenty of people seem to have had stuff delivered to Ireland

    such as this person
    http://blogs.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=61928345&postcount=18

and they also offer Ireland as a country when you register your address, so I'd say it's a safe bet they deliver here.

Maybe because you played the bovine version? :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAH. I made a typo, HILARIOUS.

I didn't play the bovine version, I played this on my 9800GTX+ with settings maxxed out and being displayed at 1920x1080 on my 23" full-hd monitor and getting about 80-90 FPS and it was like playing Virtua Cop or Time Crisis down the arcade, but even worse.

At least in those on rails shooters you get the feeling that it's all your work.
In COW(good name cause it's cowshíte) you can go from level to level with your squad and feel you're doing sweet F.

The single player is scripted sh1te, the multiplayer is why people like this.

they say 1-2days after release. Any game i bought by pre ordering from the uk took a week after release date. I'd say they mean mainland uk for that short period

Well I specifically asked about Ireland, so fingers crossed.

Also, I got an invoice today that included this:

"Product not yet released. We are packing your order now but the
order will be shipped just in time for release to you."

So, while I'm not going to get my hopes up about it being here on release day, it sounds good.

Has the PC version been shipped?

Playing a FPS on a 23" screen is like winning a night in bed with Jessica Alba, only to be told there's no touching allowed.

    Just received this from CoolShop:

    Dear Call of Duty fan,

Our top priority at Coolshop is to give you the very best service. Due to further and prolonged industrial action by Royal Mail we have teamed up with UKmail to offer you a Next Business Day Delivery Service. The service is fully traceable and gives you the reassurance of a speedy guaranteed next business day delivery. Next Business Day service is available for just £1.99. We will of course continue to offer our standard FREE 1st class Royal Mail service.

*Due to further testing and delays in introducing this next business day service ALL 360 and PS3 orders made before today's date (05/11/2009) are already in the packing system and therefore can not be upgraded to this service. We would like to reassure you that you can still expect to receive your order no later than the 10th November :-)

For Next Business Day Delivery - someone must be present between 8:00am – 6pm to accept delivery as orders must be signed for on delivery.

    All the best

    The Coolshop Team

Regarding delivery to Ireland it could be a little sooner than the 1-2 days after release they originally mentioned, according to customer service today:

"Generally when we ship mail, Ireland will have the same delivery times as our UK customers so as long as Royal Mail are all back up and working you will receive your game for the day of release"

    Fingers crossed! :)

I pre-ordered the PC Version 2-3 months ago and it wasn't option like this that time...

I placed my order yesterday and it wasn't available then. The status today was 'still processing' but there was a link in the summary page for 'express shipping'. Clicked and agreed to pay an extra £1.99 and was allowed to update the shipping type even with an Irish delivery address. If it is UK only I'm sure we'll know soon enough.
    .
Update: looks like MW2 has been shipped already. .

Remember there is a royal mail strike- so unless they are sending by courier, you could be waiting a while
