Kerning/Tracking of text

    Hi, I'm trying to edit certain text on my site so that the headers feel more...header like by decreasing the tracking between the letters. Are there html tags I can do this with, as I don't understand how to alter just some of the text with CSS? Worst coming to worst I can make the header a png but I certainly don't want that.
