    It's just another curves.

You'd be better joinging a proper gym and get a good program.

Anything that is based around 'exercise for women' i find condescending to all WOMEN.

All these programs that push 'special' training for women never take the basics of training into consideration i.e. progression, working on all aspects of fitness and strength, screening for injuries/tighness and how to best deal with that, nutrition etc

Plus most of the people that run centres like there have ABSOLUTELY no qualifications in fitness at all - not even the most basic.

Would i recommend my mum to go to a place like this - yes, because i would be happy for her to do anything BUT if you are looking for a quicker way to make progress go to a proper gym and make sure that you build in progression into your program

Thanks for the feedback, i was actually thinking of joining with my mother, she would like to lose some weight, for me i would like to tone up. I know ye made suggestions for joining a gym but they are all still so expensive and i don't really like gyms anyway.. i was kinda looking for an alternative.

Do you live near your mum?

Brisk walking together could be a really good way to start off. You could move on from there to something more energetic.

Agreed - its a decent start but as Transform said, there is little or no scope for progression so while you'll get results initially, you will get bored, and stop going and drift back towards your old lifestyle. I've seen it happen on countless occassions. Go for a few months and then progress on to a normal gym would be my advice.

Well we go swimming once a week and i do keep-fit classes but she doesn't like the classes as she finds them a bit tough so i was thinking this type of exercise in Energie should suit her

There's a thread on fitness DVD's around too. They usually have like a "working hard" and a "not working hard" person on the screen. Could ye do that together?

I should say that I have no idea what energie fitness is or anything that would go on there. :)
