    Two acts confirmed by Aiken today, tickets on sale next week;

    JLS
    Thursday 17th June

    Kenny Rogers
    Sunday 20th June

Neither would interest me really. Who would people like to see added to the line-up?

would like to see elbow there this year, saw them support coldplay and they were brilliant.

No interest in seeing either of the two mentioned above but each to their own.

OMG! are these meant to be the headliners or the only ones confirmed?

Edit: Wouldnt mind seeing Florence + The Machine or Paolo Nutini!

David Gilmour maybe? Roger Waters plated there a few years ago. I dunno, will he tour again, but it'd be unreal if he did.

I'd love to see The Corona's play there, but that is unlikely:(

Muse would be outstanding, a real **** kick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,863 ✭✭✭Papa_Lazarou

Id love to see Eric clapton and David Gray there next year. Wouldnt mind going to Paul Brady if he did a spot there. I always seem to miss his concerts.

metallica, rammstein and iron maiden although this will never happen hah

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

Rammstein at the Marquee would be hilarious. Think of the headlines; Red FM sponsor public masturbation metal show.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43 BigDinny

I would love to see the Frank and Walters headlining a show. Alternatively, Belle and Sebastian or even Leonard Cohen (if still touring) would be cool!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,738 ✭✭✭mawk

david grey might actually suit the place yeah.

    alice in chains anyone?

    or neil mother****ing young?

and id be happy for the stone throwing youths to support someone again. they were excellent under chickenfoot

Theres a load of rumours about Rammstein playing Ireland next year, will most likely be Dublin though..

Though seeing as Slayer played the damned tent, realistically anyone has a shout....

    Basil Brush

Or, I'd settle for Seasick Steve ....... and Jim Jeffries if they're puttin on a comedian.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,683 ✭✭✭✭Owen

    Seasick Steve would be fantastic!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,613 ✭✭✭evilivor

    LMAO.

Six years in a row apparently. I must be one of the few people who have never seen him play live.

Add me to that very short list also.

6years in a row, thats just robbing a slot for somebody else. Damn you Christy!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

I think quite a lot of people haven't seen nor care to see Christy Moore.

Pearl Jam would certainly be a coup for the organisers.

In addition to the previously mentioned Interpol, Eels and Editors (played the Savoy before) - Weezer have a new album and might be touring??

JLS?? I'm not angry about them playing - just disappointed. They look like a cheaper, younger and uglier version of Boyz2Men. Without the awesomeness...

+ 1 for Florence and the Machine

5th of December in the Opera House with the Magic Numbers :)

    Weezer would be class!

Also Blink - Because when they broke up I really regretted never seeing them live.

Foo Fighters - Saw them in marlay park and they were unbelievable

Silversun Pickups - They supported the Foos in marlay park and were very good. Like smashing pumpkins but less heavy

Eww, the Blizzards. The ungodly mix of rugby-jockism and bland pop-rock.

The coronas and Blizzards play birthday parties so its not totally unlikely they'll play the Marquee...
