Wordpress Driving Me MAD!!!

Hi Guys,

Can anyone point me to an easy-to-grasp tutorial on how to create wp themes from scratch. The documentation on wordpress.org is far from straight forward and the tuts I've found aren't friendly for someone not used to database and php jargon.

I am no beginner web designer by any means but I have been designing static html/css sites and I am being asked quite a lot for CMS inclusion by new clients.

Does anyone know any good tutuorials online that take you through the set up of wp and then on to the implementaion into your own site from scratch?

sidebar/main

from there work out the wordpress code/api
