Remember to replace the battery before starting Super Mario World. Would be the pits if you got far into it and it died (If it hasn't already that is)

Be careful changing the Snes cart. I've changed quite a few snes batteries and the Super Mario world one was a bit more awkward than normal. The spot where it's soldered to the connector is quite big. I ended up accidentally breaking the connector off while removing it. Had to solder it back on.

Megadrive Mark 1 arrived this morning to my parents house. My mother sent me a photo. Said I have problems.

    ...

I think she may have a point.

I just got Sonic 1 and 2 and Aladdin for the MD delivered today and already I'm "not wise". Looking forward to what she thinks by the end of the week. :pac:

Is outrun 2006 any good on the PSP, seems to very cheap in some places.

In other news, my purple N64 + box is en route :D Woop!

Can't say I think much of it tbh.

EDIT: That said, I prefer Sim to Arcade racers, so it might be to your tastes.

I like a mix of both so may give it a try. I love Outrun 2 on the Xbox so maybe it'll be to my tastes.

Game have been coming up trumps for me with PS2 games in the last few weeks:

    Disgaea
    Black
    Freedom Fighters
    Timesplitters
    Final Fantasy X-2
    Alien Hominid
    Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon

And the following for 98c each :)
    XIII
    Viewtiful Joe
    NBA Street
    Virtua Tennis 2
    Zone of the Enders
    Madden 04
    Red Faction

Game in Dundrum today had Taito Classics Collection, Metal Gear 3, Tekken tag, 4 and 5, Prince of Perisa (not sands of time, one of the other two) and a few other decent games, worth a look.

yup, its to do with the country the game was originally from, there not strictly down to region restriction though,

EDIT http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Nintendo-The-Coloured-Triangles-on-Game-Boxes_W0QQugidZ10000000004579616 ok so im slightly wrong.

That's a shame about the hanging tags. I know how much it annoys you :(

Still, Eternal Chapions looks great alright. I love when you open games up and find all the old posters and leaflets.

    And Ikaruga too!

Ikaruga for £20, not bad considering some of the prices I've seen, and the sealed RE4 for €10 incl postage
