    Hi chaps,
I've being going fairly regularly to the gym for the past 6 weeks and it's all good. I'm putting in good stints on the cardio machines and lifting some good weights.

However I want to get more toned in my core area so I went out and bought a swiss ball & a medicine ball.

Just wondering if you can provide me with links to decent resources for swiss/medicine ball workouts. I know there are 1,000's of sites out there in Google Land but a personal recommendation is much better for this kind of thing.

    Cheers.

If you go to YouTube and search for Swiss ball and Medicine ball, you'll find lots of exercises.

To start with, you can do crunches on the swiss ball, with hands in various positions. Then try weighted crunches. Also pike, where you put hands on floor, body in a straight line, feet on ball, use abs to lift hips in air. Ball press-up. Hyper-extensions. Reverse hyper-extension. Side crunch. Hamstring curl. Wall squat (ball between you and wall, go up and down). Windscreen wipers and Russian twists. And that's just the swiss ball.
