Chimney detail for built-in stove?

    Hi,

Have just finished groundworks and blocklayers are on site tomorrow to build the rising walls and chimney.

I have run two half-inch qualpex and two one-inch copper pipes to the chimney for a solid fuel stove. The qualpex are a drain and cold water feed, the copper pipes are the flow and return for the stove.

I need to give the blocklayers details of the chimney build - can anyone advise how much space I should leave for the plumbers to get access to the pipework around the back of chimney - ie using a lintol across the chimney? Is there a standard build for a solid fuel stove? We have not picked out the stove yet.

    Thanks!
