any exercise that gets your heart rate up ... a mix of cardio and weights ...

what are your current stats? height + weight etc ... you cant spot reduce fat from anywhere, you need to drop body fat overall ..

exercise might be 30% of the solution, the other 70% lies with diet!!

You can't target fat loss from specific areas of the body, you just need to lose more fat. It can be hard to shift that last bit of fat around the waistline, but you've done great work losing so much weight so far. Keep it up!!

Your diet will be the key in this case and I have to say from personal experience
that Muay Thai/boxing are great for losing the bodyfat overall+above posters

Would exercises like the plank be of any addition for fat loss around the stomach or would they be more beneficial if looking for a 6 pack?

As was said already there are no exercises for losing belly fat in particular. Planks, sit ups crunches etc. will strengthen your abs and may add more definition once the fat is lost. Abs will be visible when under 10% body fat. If you get your body fat percentage checked this may give you an idea of how far away you are. Under 13% I think is considered a decent level for bady fat percentage.

If your after losing the 32 pounds over the summer and still progressing then its probably just a matter of time. Changing your training routine periodically can also stimulate your body a little more.

If you post up your diet, stats and current training schedule people will be able to advise you better
