Got mine Thursday. Never been in the o2 but I got tickets in Block K, which from the ticketmaster diagram seems to be at the back. I read somewhere that all the seats are pretty good and youd have a good view, is this true? I was in a panic when I bought them because I was full sure they were going to sell out fast so just took the first 2 seats I was offered.

Also, can anyone reccommend a good hotel near the o2 to stay in?

I was in block K for Greenday about 2 weeks ago. It was near the back but the view's still perfect there.

also, i'd recommend jury's inn hotel on the quays. it's about 10 minutes of a walk from the venue. prob best to book soon as i'd say it'll fill up coming nearer to the event.

    Excellent!

The friend Im going with, her mother suggested Jury's aswell. She's a bit strapped for cash (though who isn't?) and wants somewhere cheap-ish. I'll look into it though and see how much it would be. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you're really strapped for cash, might be no harm checkin out jacob's inn just off talbot street. it's a popular hostel with backpackers. it's about a 25 minute walk from there to the o2 and might be alright for 1 night

I am totally clueless when it comes to the O2, are the standing all general? Like you wont be put in a specific area? I'm going to book Lady Gaga pre-sale tickets and I really need to check before I buy them! Any help would be appreciated :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,698 ✭✭✭garthv

Standing is standing, its a free for all in there,

The only time you'll be put in a specific place is when you buy seating tickets.

on telly she looks really bad live...but maybe in real life its a much better show??

Sorry to sound really stupid here.. but...

Why would anyone want to go twice?

I mean, im a wrestling fan, so I'd attend two WWE shows back-to-back, because the matches always change... Surely she's going to do the same music on both nights?

Wouldn't going to the same show twice be a bit of an atmosphere killer for yourself? As someone who has attended WWE Shows back to back, although I enjoyed the variation and the second night had great matches, the novelty of seeing the guys live had kinda gone.

I'm not into her myself, and i know she obviously has a lot of fans, but you know... Too much of a good thing...?

I suppose what I'm asking is... is it likely she'll change the routine, music, etc. for each show?

I seen her supporting PCD in the O2 earlier this year, she was absolutely fantastic and was pretty much an unknown at the time (Just Dance had literally only been released AFAIK).

    Stole the show that night.

Can't wait for it. At first I was only going as a friend wanted to go but I bought her album over the weekend and I'm impressed. Not my usual type of music but I like it. :)

Doubt it, usually acts take a day break in between england and ireland. Also, I think if they were going to add a third date, they would have done so already.

Can't wait for this one, saw her last August at V Festival but she was really late on and had to play like half a set. I didn't enjoy it but i like her so much she deserves a second chance

I'm not sure how I feel about admitting I'm going to see her on Sunday night:rolleyes:

I bought 2 lady gaga PDF etickets a few weeks ago for my sisters 11th birthday.. Found a guy on donedeal.. met him in dublin and he gave me PDF etickets.
I only paid face value which want bad.. but now that I look at the tickets im a little worried.

The dont seem right.. they are for section B Row 11 Seats 11&12 but on the seating chart theres no upper tier section B row 11.

The order number isnt printed on the ticket. It has the two bar codes and all the other relevent info.

Im really worried they could be fakes.. what would you do if you where me??

I know I shouldnt of bought from a 3rd party but im sister really really wanted to go for her birthday and ticketmaster were sold out.

I called ticket master but they could check cos I couldnt find the order number.

Maybe bring them to a ticketmaster outlet & they would know by looking at it.

I bought fake PDF tickets before, they looked official but wouldn't scan in on the night. 4 people had the same tickets I did : (

They only thing that was different about them that was pointed out to me by the bouncers was the font size in the box at the top right corner. The font should fill the boxes if that makes sense.
