Foot Injury

Not looking for medical advice here, so no one give it and thread won't be locked, cheers. Just looking to hear if people had similar problem and what they did about it so I know all my options.

So I wore a new pair of boots to soccer on astro turf type surface and the studs were a tad high. Anyway my right foot is fecked now. There is a pain across the width of my foot, around the top region about an inch behind the toes(the laces area if you were looking at your feet). It feels like some fat lady stood on my foot with a broad high heel shoe. When I put pressure on the ball of my foot, like when walking, its very sore.

Now its not a serious problem and I know it will pass in about 5 or 6 days with a good bit of limping around the place but just want to know if anyone had any similar problems and what they did about it.

Its a bit odd cause my left foot is fine but thats my kicking foot and maybe its just stronger and could take the new boots on the astro.

It definitely dosent warent 50 quid for a physio, maybe I should just heat treat it and massage it or somethin.

Dont lock this thread, I'm not looking for life or death medical advice here seriously ;)

sounds like bruising, ice it and keep it elevated, if it doesn't feel better in a couple of days, get to the physio.

never too late for ice and all that, ice it as much as possible and keep it raised as much as possible.
