Muscle soreness two days later

    Recently I've noticed that the muscle soreness I get from dumbell (chest) presses comes on two days later, it used to always be the next morning I'd feel it, has anyone else experienced this or know why it has happended to me?

    I don't think it's unusual for DOMS to be worse on the second day after training than the first.

    When I squat its always > 48hrs later that things get really sore.

    24-48 hours after exercise are the time when DOMS are at their worst. Relish the feeling!! :)

    DOMs peak at 48 hours. In fact, I've felt DOMS at their worst EXACTLY 48 hours after training - like Wed 8pm I'm feeling Monday's 8pm workout!
