I am so addicted to it atm very brilliant and fun RPS game! I only hate the public online co-op cause when i was on my first boss someone joined my game who's level 27 i fink and he killed it by himself i didn't even get a shot at all! :mad: But so far i really love it... :cool:

I noticed that myself. Some guy who was level 22 joined me when I was only level 4. He seemed happy to just one-shot everything and follow me around. I ended up leaving him there :P

I'm lv 13 and have a few purples. Missons are getting pretty hard now. I'll need to start co-op soon

Ye your right mate i struggle aswell when im on lvl 13 so i went to co-op to loot some good weapons. Just give me a shout on PSN whenever and i will help you out if you want...

I got my first Orange weapon in it today. Got a revolver that regenerates ammo. Pretty handy. Wish I used the revolver more though, if it was a Sniper Rifle it'd be perfect.

It's really reminding me of those dark days playing World of Warcraft... I was going to say grinding away until finding a purple weapon, but that sentence is far to rife with double entendres. That compulsion though to find better loot and finish just one more quest to level up. Even the skill tree system.

Sledge shotgun is pretty handy i must say, i killed him by myself cause some greedy bastards might take his gun lol

Well i'm lv19 now and still haven't killed Sledge. Been doing all the side quests. Got some purples and good blues at my level range. Still have the purple fever problem from wow were i am reluctant to dump a low lv blue/purple for a higher lv green.

Did Sledge's hideout today with a berserker. Was good fun and really helped as that place has a lot of mobs. The end fight was particularly good.

We took turns kiting the boss while the other blew the **** out of it. Not that hard of a fight. Just have to make sure you have enough ammo and am in range of the kiting.

I saved the claptrapz there as well and grabbed the purple SMG with incendiary rounds.

EDIT: thinking of rerolling as Lilith. Siren seems more like a rogue from wow and might be better for soloing. Soldier is very much a support class for co-op.

I should've use lilith from the start aswell i feel gutted when i see her powers... might go create new character instead cause my soldier is already level 33 and got healing attributes which is gay! lol


P.S Always keep an eye to PEARL and ERIDIAN WEAPONS (Alien Weapon) they are the most rare and strongest guns in the game. I am lucky that i got 2 pearl and 3 eridian...

I just started again with Lilith, was mainly playing co-op though so not sure how she is solo. Her power seems weak at first but when you upgrade it a bit it's pretty good. I finished the game playing as Hunter and found him pretty good. I went for a sniper rifle and shotgun as my primary weapons rather than sniper/pistol. I hardly used his action power though. The handiest thing with him is that if you upgrade the sniper skill tree and max out the last skill you have a 100% chance to ignore shields on enemies which is a pretty nice skill.

I'm at level 16 as the soldier. Loving the deployable turret a lot! Finding it hilarious to run into a room, deploy it and take cover.

Looking forward to having seeker missiles in the turret when I get it upgraded.

They get even tougher when you have 3 or 4 players. I was in a game at the weekend where I was about 8-10 levels above the mobs we were killing and actually died once because I thought I could relax and take a load of damage from 'em. They throw swarms of enemies at you when you have 4 players. Tougher enemies too, lots of Badass ones.

So my copy FINALLY arrived today, such an awesome game. Up to 15 with my soldier and have died a few times, spent about 2 hours in Lost Cave facing badass Corrosive skags....fun times. Oh and a badass Bruiser with what looked like a shotgun-launcher, threw out about 4 mini rockets at a time.

Gonna add inFamouxe, NotorietyH and Scraib later, I am Danteire if anyones interested in a game (got no headset though).

Going to get this tomorrow. I got Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 last week instead of this, as I get them every year, but it's just more of the same so going with the GameStop 25% extra trade in, I only have to top up it by a couple of euro to get Borderlands.

Had just bout given up on borderlands Untill I started to host games and had people dropping in. I think the best game to compare this too is Crackdown on 360, ****e story, interesting art style and fun upgrade and combat system. Seriously good game for just wasting a few hours.

How is everyone finding the game so far? I have to say at first I loved it. Thought the graphics were excellent, the gameplay was great and the drop-in multiplayer was a good idea. I like the way each character can be further customised through the talent trees they have.

But when I last played I hit level 20, turned the game off and haven't gone back to it. After playing for a while I've just decided that I think the game is pretty boring. I don't find it too challenging and I think that the whole running/driving all the way across the map to do your quest, then running all the way back to hand the quest in really slows the pace of the game down, so much so that I'm now just dreadfully bored.

I think the game has some really great features, but for me Boarderlands hadn't gone down as the great game I thought it would be.

EDIT: Probably should add that I'm not giving up on playing the game, but I think I might go back to Fallout for a while.

This is what WoW is like but unlike wow you don't have a guild you can chat to while doing quests on your own. I too am getting bored at lv23. Might just take a little break from it. I'm finding some of the new areas annoying with the strength of mobs and the swarms of them. Also some areas have a really high respawm timer

I think that's one of the main factors for me; it plays a lot like a basic shooter version of WoW, but it lacks the community. I see Boarderlands as grinding through the quests to get to level 50, but once you're at the max level there isn't stuff to farm for, or dalies to do etc. I probably shouldn't compare it to WoW, but I just can't help notice the similarities!

I'm done with this, loved it at the start but sick of it now. All you do is follow the marker on the map, kill/collect something, and repeat. Game shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as fallout. Also wtf is up with the load times?

That sounds like almost every game that's made at the moment. I wouldn't compare it to Fallout though, it's much more like World of Warcraft. Fallout 3's one of my favourite games ever, I still love Borderlands though, addicted to it at the moment.

Well I just finished the game there, level 50 as the soldier.... I try'd coop online there yesterday for the first time and it was a complete mess, very annoying just with ramdom people,left after 15mins. Have some minor niggles but overall it was a good game, dunno if i'll get the "House of Ned" DLC

Sorry about dragging up this old thread, but does anybody know how to check your play time in the PS3 version? For the 360 version you apparently just have to select your character, but if I do this it just gives me the choice of playthrough 1/2 and then throws me into the game

I've only recently started playing this game and I'm really liking it so far. Its far from perfect but its very addicitve & fun.

I'm a lvl 23 Hunter, probably less than 50% through the game.

Wouldn't mind a bit of co-op when my character is a bit stronger & if someone has the "played with Gearbox employee trophy" that would be excellent too.
