is there any difference running late at night say half 12 instead of getting up early in the morning and going out, the reason is i work till 12.30 sum nights i find it better heading out at that hour instead of going in the morning time,

I'm running at night these days in order to lose weight. I find it nice and relaxing as no one is really about.

Just be sure that you keep yourself warm, plenty of layers... especially your chest.

and i dont care if you look like a tool...wear as much reflective gear as possible if running on the road!!!!!!!

as someone who drives alot at night i really think some people have no value on there life!

I wouldn't worry about scheduling your run to consider the best fat burn at times of the day, do what whatever gets you out running consistently week after week. If you work that late i'd say theres no reason why not to do a jog after. However I can't sleep for at least 2-2.5 hours after a late night run so be prepared for that.

Endorphins & other things are released, and these help wake you up. I cycle to work and am very alert, many presume you would be tired etc. This is why I prefer early morning cardio.

Have to agree 100% here. Recently saw a cyclist cycling into oncoming traffic at 7pm with a crummy light on the front. Just getting dark - main artery road, 60-80kph speed limit, cycling at me!

I know 100% that all sports better after 12pm, if you do your runing at night time you have to give 2 hours and then you can go to bed:p
