There's a Classic Cars forum if you're into the older stuff. It's not really my bag.

Maybe I decided to sell Audi because I thought they're cool.

It's ok to be a fanboi - I think if you're not passionate about something then there's something wrong!

Otoh, a lot of Audis, esp the bigger ones, do nothing for me. In fact a lot of them (A6 and up) conjure up images of dodgy lads from east of West Germany. But having said that, whatever floats your boat, go for it...

Differing tastes. I like the R8, but those alloys are manky.

IN = Ingolstadt, which is the place Audi's headquarter is.

Innsbruck is in Austria, not Germany, so you'd hardly find them driving with german reg.

Would much prefer some standard (non-black) alloys on it though.

The Audi Quattro (above) was seriously something else, when it emerged. I'd love to own one of'em. Matter of fact, it made Mercedes so afraid, that the MB 190 2.5V6 was launched as a road car, because they couldn't see it being able to compete with the Quattro's.

Talking about Audis in movies above...

Audi must have been working overtime on product placement back in the 80s-
100 (5000 in US) in Magnum PI (series covered the chage from old angular to '82 aero model). TC character also drove a VW van.

5000 in ET

5000 in Lethal Weapon (I). The baddie hijacks it with the line 'Mind if I test drive your Audi?'

Timoty Dalton drove an Audi in Bond flick 'The Living Daylights' (as well as a REAL old-skool Aston)

It started out as a silver 1.9 tdidily. The amount and quality of work gone into it is unbelievable. Wouldn't be my choice of engine but i would like that colour on a RS4. Yellow lights wouldn't be to my taste either
