AK47 FTW! The only gun for me in CoD4! Although sometimes I'll use the AK74 or the shotgun... But that's rare enough!

Well i've been playing WaW for a good while now. Went back to playing CoD4 yesterday and couldn't hit a barn door. I use to use the RPD with red dot or AK74. Nowadays i'm changing around a fair bit. Can't wait for MW2 now!

I use a bit of everything. Till like 2 hrs ago I was using an acoged M40A3 and doing pretty well with it but now I've started using an M21 cause I want at least 1 gold gun before MW2. I also like my digital acoged ak-47, my blue G36C w/ rds, my digital ak-74u silenced, my blue acoged M16, my red acoged M4, my digital p90 silenced or w/ rds or a digital silenced scorpion. TBH I'm not fussy as long as its not a LMG, I feel like I'm cheating using one...:D

It depends on the map.

MP5 is one of my all-round favourites but I love the AK47 too.
If I'm sniping then the R700.

If you fire short bursts then it'd not too bouncy so instead of emptying the mag at an enemy, try tapping the trigger a couple of times in succession

I used to find it "bouncy" too. But with hundreds of hours practicing, I improved my aim and "learnt" how it reacted. The first 4 bullets go straight. That's usually enough to kill. But if the guy is still alive then I usually lower the AK47 to counteract the recoil (or bounce). Usually does the trick!

Yup, same trick can be used for the light machine guns, lower the weapon slightly, squeeze the trigger and the barrel rises as the recoil takes effect...unless you use a grip perk in which case, much of the recoil is counteracted already

I change as i complete the challenges belonging to the weapon, the challenges up to 150 kills and then i start again when i presitge. I like the silenced P90 and the MP5 red dot and M4 acog.

Grip perk? Is that "steady hands"? I thought it was for snipers only...

It's great for close quarters (Vacant for example). But on bigger maps, I find it hard to be accurate from a far. That's why I rarely use it.

while i agree it sucks on creek/overgrown, its great on anything else xD

if theres someone too far away to shoot, i usually give the car near him a few knocks then leg it to a closer area.

Nearly always use the AK-47 meself apart from smaller maps, I hated it at first and used to always use the M4 but once you get the hang of the Ak aim your sorted.

Use the AK-74u in smaller maps like vacant. And only recently started sniping, trying to get the hang of it. Still not sure on what gun to use between the r700 and m40 though

Wow! Apart from the sniping bit I could have written this myself! I used the M4 before switching to the AK47 myself!

for small maps like vacent its mp5 or p9O both silenced..

Voted for the MP5 but on any given day it could be a number of guns, really depends on my mood and the map. But it seems to be the MP5 or the M4 is what I usually take to battle.

In anticipation for the upcoming MW2 I went back to play MW1 and I always end up with the G36c w/ red dot(the best all-rounder IMO), side arm, 3 grenades, martyrdom and uav blocker. Always helps when you get behind the enemy and pick them off on the way back. Iv never used a silencer or an MP5but after reading the above I think I might give it a go.

Usually a scoped M60E. Tapping a few single shots keeps the recoil low. Good for spray&pray covering fire as well Mostly depends on my mood and the map.
