Right I've come up with a recipe that packs ~1000 kcal into a pint glass. I'm using it as an alternative to whey protein supplements as they don't agree with me.

    Raw eggs x2
    Small bananna x2
    Peanut butter ~90grams
    Dash of honey
Make up to ~500mils with skim milk.

I reckon taking these could seriously help pack on pounds. Thoughts?

That isn't even remotely similar to a whey shake....

It has protein, and lots of calories...

Theres no way thats all fitting in a pint glass...

Its similar to a weight gain shake, I wouldnt have so much peanut butter in it though, maybe try 30g peanut butter, 70g oats or something

Fits in no bother at all. Thing about peanut butter is it has massive ammounts of calories. 600 per 100grams. Haven't found another food that even comes close.

also, if you are going to have this daily, try and get liquid egg whites because regularly consuming raw eggs could lead to biotin deficiency

A whey shake only has one of them.... You'd be lucky to see 250-300kcals from a 50g whey shake.

Rocky style.... nice!! Although I think eggs are meant to be better if they are cooked, better protein absorption or something... may be wrong with that tho!!

There is no need whatsoever to have around a 1000 calories per serving!! Your system will find it quite hard to process that much at one sitting. Anyone else who once tried to have a full serving of Serious Mass.. it doesn't sit well does it??:pac:

Lose the raw eggs unless they are pasteurised. Raw eggs are not a great idea:

    a) due to the presense of avidin, which prevents absorption of biotin and to a certain extent protein

    b) salmonella risk

He said make up to ~500 ml with the milk though, not 500 ml of milk.

It has some protein. not a whole lot,
and most of its calories come from fat.
I reckon its not a good idea, but hey, I have never bulked and 1000cals would be the bulk of my daily needs

To expand on this, I'd recommend just filling the pint glass with full fat milk and having that on its own.

Or walnuts, which have a much nicer, healthier lipid profile.
