Inevitably I'll think of a few glaring omissions later but here's my two cents worth...

The White Stripes - Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground
The Strokes - Hard to Explain
    Radiohead - House of Cards
    Kings of Leon - Milk
    Interpol - Leif Erikson
    Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies)
The Libertines - What a Waster
MGMT - Electric Feel/Time to Pretend
Queens of the Stone Age - Make it Wit Chu
Bell X1 - Bad Skin Day
Folks poll up. Sure it will provoke a lot of debate. One Omission there is Fated to pretend by GMT so put that under other. Otherwise I think fairly good poll.

You have intervention up twice. Maybe you could edit it to Rebellion (lies)

And they have different results...something in this poll is flawed :p

Kings of Leon -Fans, really? That got the most votes for a KOL song? Very surprised.

It only has one vote so far, you'll have to wait for way more votes for any conclusive results.

I mean I was surprised it got enough nominations to get into the poll. Me and a mate were just talking the other day about what a mediocre song it is.
Anyway, I wouldn't be taking any results of this poll as gospel, considering it's drawing from a small enough group of voters.
    Interesting all the same though.

Ah but that's just opinion like, to me all Kings of Leon and Franz Ferdinand and whoever else's there's kinda stuff is very mediocre, to me it's just Oxegen music, dribble to please the masses, but I realise that to others it's more than that, and that's fair enough. Suppose that's the point of these polls, to find out what the most common opinion on songs/bands is. Mmm...Can't beat 3am nonsense talk.

Kings of Leons new stuff is pandering to the masses but you could hardly say that about their earlier stuff. Youth and Young Manhood had songs about Transvestite hookers taking cocaine, murder and preachers seducing and having sex with women.

Million Dead- I am the party
Hot Chip- And I was a boy from school
Fleet Foxes- Tiger mountain peasant song
The Flaming Lips- Do you realise?
    Squarepusher- Port Rhombus
    Foals- Two steps, twice
    Digitalism- Pogo
    Cursive- The Recluse

The Postal Service's version 'Such Great Heights' wasn't even the best version of that song, never mind track of the decade.

    It's the original and best!

theres been so much quality songs this decade, i cant have a top 3, let alone top 10, let alone top 50. sure, theres been a load of tosh, but the quality of the indie underground scene in the last 5 years has been nothing short of breathtaking.
