Uncharted 2, early release?

Hey anyone know of anywhere selling this today?

From following the threads when FIFA10 was being released, no one wanted to break the release bar one or two xtra-visions, and even then, I imagine Uncharted is far stricter on the ole regulations.

Serious lack of POS up for it when i was around town today. You wouldn't know HMV was going to sell it tomorrow. Gamestop have it on a poster but didn't see any prebook cases facing onto the street. GAME was focusing more on ODST and Operation Flashpoint on 360.

Normally Smyths or Xtravision put their new releases on sale at 6 o clock so I'd be very surprised if it didn't happen with this.

I just rang Phibsboro Xtravision there, they said they won't be selling it unless they get a phone call... so I guess theres nothing to do except try again later. If anyone comes across a shop in town selling it let us know

Gamestop Tallaght are selling it, so one can assume it's the same for all store's.

I asked in Game how much they would be selling it for and the guy said they didn't know yet. He told me they would match the price of anywhere else selling it cheaper.

I'm hoping that HMV have it for €45 like they do for most new releases.

Monaghan and Carrickmacross, rang Monaghan earlier they said no not till tomorrow. Then they start selling it but I was too late

Just to confirm guys just in the door and i got my copy in xtravision. Tomorrow off..time to get a beer!

I got it in HMV for €45, decent price for a bricks and mortar store.
Been playing it for a couple of hours now and it's brilliant, the story is really well paced, graphics look gorgeous. Such a shame that I'm in work all day tomorrow and saturday so I'm not going to get much of a chance to play it over the next couple of days .
Any other people get it yet? thought's?

Got nothing bad to say really, U2 is my favourite game so far!

I was surprised with the co-op tbh it is very fun and challenging on beta it was really short and easy my only problem is the yanks playing they are all giving me a headache!

as much as i loved the original, i just dont get the scramble to get it early. fingers crossed its longer than the first or some people will have already finished it. for that reason i wont be in any rush to get it.

I'm glad I got it off cdwow cos a lot of you guys say they deliver quite a few days late, plenty of time for me to do a bit of work for my dissertation.

If I got it early then I might as well defer for a year...

Just played for 2 hours, best 2 hours of gaming in years..literally jaw dropping stuff. Off to bed, don't want to rush through it either. Just advice, play the game on hard. Its perfectly balanced this time round and still provides a thrilling challenge.
