Back Pain, advice needed

Hiya guys, just looking for some advice for a mate of mine who is having some problems with his back. He sent me on this description

The pain has always being in my lower back from the days in college when I used to sleep on the couch. But at a GAA match last year. I fell on the hard ground with the ball at my stomach and since then a bone in the centre of my spine in my lower back has being sore to touch and is that what I think is the main source. Its not a dehabilitating pain its more constantly nagging me if I push myself hard at training or if I stay stationary for a long time. When I get up in the morning after GAA matches & training during the summer it was really sore and stiff that I'd be limping around until I loosened up but it hasnt being like that bad since GAA ended.

Of course the main thing is to got to see Mr back doctor, but im just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and could anyone recommend a good place to have this looked at in galway?

    thanks for any feedback

    Hi Jayoo

Your friend really needs to start with their GP and get their professional opinion on what to do with this or get referred to someone who can help adn in my opinion, sooner rather then later.

    Best Regards,

This. We can't give feedback on medical conditions I'm afraid.
