98k km. Never a problem bar an air conditioning compressor under warranty. Runs and looks like new. Would like to replace it with an FR diesel but can't bring myself to part with it at the moment (plus waiting to see what the new year brings workwise:rolleyes:)

No major problems. Spoke to the boss yesterday about potentially importing UK car in April next year when car is due for replacement. He was impressed by the propaganda about the value you can get from the UK. Sucker!

Or get him to buy me a Skoda Octavia VRs

Anyone that knows me knows I like my Hyundais for some very strange reason.
Anyway this is my first insurance on my own in 15 years since I lost the company car back in May so I needed something cheap and reliable and the Accents are reliable as anything and cheap to insure.
Looking for a 1.6 Coupe(older model) if anyone has one going cheap even needing a bit of work would suit.

I remember when I started driving, I was jealous of anyone who had a 1.2 Corsa, as I had a 1.0 Ibiza. :o

I got to drive one one day, and it was like all my birthdays had come at once. It was soooooooo quick compared to my Ibiza!

The missus has one now, and yeah I have to agree. It is slow!

It's worse because it's the new model, much heavier than older ones.

It cruises quite comfortably on the motorway, but try putting your foot down to overtake and you'll be waiting a long time.

It's not the most exciting car to drive, not the quickest, not the best looking, but is fairly compatent at them all. I know some say it's as dull as ditchwater, but it starts every morning and gets driven in a very "Spirited" fashion (Front tyres last less than 15k to 20k Km).

For excitement, there's a '77 Esort at home, with a 1.9 205GTi hopefully on the way as well.......
