What Happens to my office licence once computer stops working

    Hi,

Might be a stupid question but my laptop has stopped working after 2 years and so too has my copy of Microsoft Office.
I have the licence key and the documentation proving I bought it from Microsoft, and I have a letter from an IT company stating it is beyond economic repair, I am just wondering what I can do or is my copy of Office now gone?
    Thanks for your help.

Is the copy of office OEM or retail? If OEM then it dies with the machine it was installed on.
