400g TOBLERONE €1.10

This will only appeal to the chocoholics...
Tesco have the 400g Toblerone on special:
It is supposed to be €2.35 reduced from €3.60 (save €1.25 on the large yellow shelf label)
But when it scans it takes another €1.25 off....
making it €1.10 for a 400g bar.

I knew a vending machine that had a few rows at 5c each for around a week.
aero mint and galaxy caramels, I was 14 at the time and really enjoyed them!
only 1 other guy knew about it.

I scanned them with the price checker and they came up as 2.35.

Anyway thought the price is still OK. Brought 4 to the till and they scanned at 1.10 - happy days.

Didn't work in Tesco @ Jervis centre. 400gms are 4.35 or something like that there - tried scanning too, and came up as the same as labeled.

Great post OP. My favourite kind of chocolate at the giveaway price of 1.10. If they don't have any left near the Celebrations/Quality Street you should find them at end of aisle near the sweets.
Offer still on. They mustn't have realised they're giving the reduction twice.

Just bought 5 in Ballybrack. €5.50. Don't know what I'm going to do with 2kg of Toblerone, eat it I suppose.

Oh it doesn't work on the fruit and nut ones, just the milk chocolate one.

Thanks OP. Got it in Artane today. Looked around the bars aisle in dismay for a while, only seeing 200g and below. Happened to go down the selection box and biscuit tin aisle and wahoo! Got three of them and a lot of looks. But I bought toothbrushes too, so I'll be fine.

You can buy them in the Gourmet shop in Rathgar in Dublin I believe for those interested. Not sure of the price though!

I did chance my arm and didn't get it for the low low price of 1.10 but hey I have 4x400G bars of Toblerone to scoff now!

As obviously, the 400g toblerone is not good for the waistline, I thought I should post an alternative from the 5-a-day fruit option:
Tesco have the Terry's (chocolate) Orange( 175g) on special for €1.17 at the moment( available until 25thOct)

Thank you, CH3OH. I stocked up on a few today for Christmas(If they last that long in my custody, of course). Not before bringing some to the checkout at another store and seeing they were 3.33, so I left them back!

The were scanning at €1.10 alright in Mahon, but finding stock could be a problem.

I got some in Mahon on Wednesday, but only because I happened to be there when they were restocking the shelves (around 10pm). Just an empty space on the shelf before that. No stock either on Thursday evening. No sign of them at all in Wilton on Wednesday, not even a spot on the shelf.
