    Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a good place to buy running shoes on the internet, ive been told the likes of asics runners are available much cheaper online compared to sports shops.

    Anyone know where to look?

    Thanks

I would only recommend this approach if you know what type of running shoe is suited to you. Runways on parnell will perform a gait analysis to determine the best shoe for you based on your posture / movement etc. The shoes might be pricey but your legs / feet will thank you.

I agree. Gait analysis is worth paying the extra for.

Amphibian king in bray still have 30% off asics, check out the thread in bargain alerts. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=62361611#post62361611

Some had cheaper sites online and the last poster was warning that amphibian king's (free) gait analysis was too basic.

    I was happy with them.

Yes i would like to get the gait analysis, but dont want to feel pressured in buying the shoes in that shop, are u expected to buy a shoe wherever u get this analysis done?

Or... could you just go to the shop first time and find out what type of shoes you should get? From then on you could buy online... try wiggle.co.uk. I find Brook's runners really good, but like I said, it's impossible to know which ones to get first time out...
