I'm most of all disappointed with being alone for an entire week!:( Seems like even international students are going home. Some at least. Had I knew about the study week in advance, then maybe I would have done so too.

Anyway, movie on sunday in the arts block with the international society!:) That's fun... other than that, this sucks:(

John, u should use the time to go on a day trip or something. Head up to Northern Ireland or down the country. There must be some people staying, not everyone can afford to go home so don't worry!

I hope no-one will crucify me for bringing up 2 (amongst at least 100,000) pet hates on campus, as 2 in particular are starting to *SERIOUSLY* get on my wick recently. Firstly, and it seems like a minor thing until it actually happens, but does anyone else get more than a little wound up when you walk into that archaic computer room just across from Callan Hall, only to find there's a class on and some snooty lecturer gives you the evil eye for interrupting their train of thought? Maybe I'm being a little pedantic here, but wouldn't having the basic cop-on (and you don't need a degree for that) to PUT A SIGN UP ON THE DOOR LIKE THE MAJORITY OF LECTURERS DO contribute in some way to informing plebs like me not to open the door in the first place...?

Also, the state of the changing rooms in the gym are absolutely vile. Especially considering how senior figures on campus are so quick to reference a certain accolade from a Sunday newspaper anytime they are on a P.R. roll, it sure would be nice if the reality matched the aesthetic. Pointless in saying anything as the guy in charge considers it to be one big laugh. Maynooth's David Brent maybe...?

Always makes me smirk when someone mentions "lack of resources". Nonsense, intellegent spending coupled with the fact that certain problems have existed long before the current economic fiasco have to be considered, but obviously are not.

Yeah! She always stares me out of it! She actually gave out like f*%k to me one day too. I'd love to go in and wreck the gaff, just to see her face like:P

I wouldn't mind, but the majority of lecturers have the courtesy to put a sign on the door, coupled with the fact that some of them will let you stay if you are there before their class has started. Then again some of the offending lecturers are nearly as young as the students and have even less cop on.
