Don't know if he won or lost this pot !

    9pm: Berry gives some back
Michael Berry and Marty Smyth got to a flop of 9♠K♣2♣ and Berry bet 50,000. Smyth called. The turn was T♥ and Berry this time bet what looked like 25,000, which Smyth called. The river was J♣ and Berry bet 140,000, which again Smyth called. Berry showed J♣J♥ and Smyth's A♠K♥ won.

How many runners and what was the starting stack? Helluva lot of chips in play. GL Marty

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,724 ✭✭✭nicnicnic

Mitesh Anjaria is the latest player to fall. He was all-in on a {9-?} {4-?} {2-?} board with {10-?} {9-?} but couldn't improve against Marty Smyth's {Q-?} {Q-?} when the board failed to produce any more Tens or Nines.

    Smyth has 1.1 million now.

730 runners all EPTs 30,000 starting stack this year.

just listening to poker show and said Marty had 2400 chips with 20 minutes left on day two blinds 500/1000 and got a walk with 1000 of the 2400 in for BB

    10.30pm: Warring big stacks
There are three almighty stacks on one table this evening, although it might have been four. A quick count moments ago showed Rodrigo Caprioli with 1,750,000; Marty Smyth with 1,050,000; Nikolai Senninger with 1,600,000 and Vivek Rajkumar with 1,700,000. But Rajkumar just added about 350,000 of Smyth's stack when this happened: Rajkumar made it 48,000 UTG+1 and Smyth called from the big blind. The flop came 5♣4♠A♠ and both checked. The turn came A♥ and after Smyth bet 85,000, Smyth called. The river was K♣ and again Smyth checked, with Rajkumar betting 200,000. Call.
Rajkumar showed A♣6♠ to take it down and leap into the chip lead.
Only 25 players now remain but the chip lead is changing hands with almost every pot.

That blogger should take a break for the evening, little bit of poker dyslexia going on.
