Arm Pump

I partake in motocross. I get killer arm pump. So bad I can no longer operate my levers . Constant tugging of the arms and muscleing the bike is very sore on fore arms.

I am training with different things. Light weights (sqeezeing a foam ball till my arms go to jelly)
And heaveir weight. rowing machine and pumping iron at the gym.

My question is.... To build fitness in a muscle , Is it more beneficial to do heavy or light weight training?
I need to last a days hard riding. These fore arm muscles do not need to lift major weight during a ride, but need to endure constant strain and shocks.
    All Day.

1 - you can buy grips for barbells/ dbells that make them thicker. great tool for improving forearm strength. google fatgripz and their alternatives

2 - go for endurance - higher reps but also add in strength work

3 - time under tension is important for you. rather than just bang out sets and reps try to control the negative ie slowly lower weights and have the hands gripping as long as possible
