My ping has gone to cr@p since last week...

I have SMART in Ashbourne (WLR, not LLU) and my ping used to be great but now it's pathetic:

Anybody else on the Ashbourne Exchange? Even with a different ISP?

    DON'T use the Limerick link
    102799.png

English sites are better than Limerick!

That's only, because the ISP running the Limerick link and Eircom have no good connection to each other.

When you test on Limerick (being an Eircom customer), you might actually transit right across the UK and back.

People, that use other Internet providers might get better results to Limerick than to Dublin. It all depends who you buy your internet of and what server you use. THERE IS NO GENERAL RULE YOU CAN FOLLOW !!

The whole reason for having more than one server is, that there is no shoe, that fits all.

Oh. And the Galway server went also online today.

consistently good by that i guess. :)

going to be a year in November since I left BT and I honestly couldn't be happier with UPC, aside from a few little niggles every now and again, but on the whole, they've been great.

Hi. I browse around these forums from time to time but only registered now since when I tested I was getting 100% packet loss too and I happen to have the same router as Jak. Only thing is it says I need a Static IP Address? But don't you have to have a business package with Eircom to have one?
