...in the evening's. Can anyone tell me is it even of benefit weights in the morning as opposed to just body weight exercises. I find I can lift more in the evening/nighttime than in the morning which I'm kinda putting down to the fact that I wouldnt have ate as much earlier on in the day.. anyhow basically the only real time I have to exercise is first thing in the morning. I want to run every 2nd day and try to tone up every other day, is it best to do weights or body weight exercises????

This was discussed here before, somewhere.
Try to avoid maxing out on heavy weights first thing in the morning. Warm up well also.

In the evening you have a whole days energy stored up hence heavier lifting.

Your choice is easy - you have no choice - do what you can when you can.

    Depends what your goal is.

Thinking aloud here really, but a good weights session generally kicks your metabolism into gear doesn't it ? so presumably if you do it early in the morning it's going to be beneficial for losing a bit of weight.

Weights and bodyweight exercises should be used together - they're both forms of resistance training. If the only time you can exercise is in the morning, do it. I don't think it generally matters what time of the day you train, as long as you're training. What the hell is 'tone up'?

What are your goals? I think it's better to train with an aim in mind.

If you can only lift in the morning then warm up really good and do some stretche's to avoid injurie's.

Its all in the mind mate. Training in the morning or evening doesn't make a difference. If you can only do it in the morning have a good breakfast stretch well dynamic! Also last thing is to focus on your goals.

    Get motivated!
